To make the lighting inside this family room adequate, the camera lens had to be opened enough that the brighter windows lost a good deal of detail. In addition, bright light from the windows also caused some unattractive reflections on the ceiling beams. The ArtD'partment retouched the photo to eliminate those problems.

This historic building reclamation project created condominiums for sale by the developer. Unfortunately, this nice frontage shot was marred by electrical wires; another building in the background distracted from the focus as well. The ArtD'partment was able to remove the wires and unsightly poles as well as to digitally delete the neighboring building for this promotional photo.

The kids in this picture are cute, but the photo is dark and a little fuzzy, and it seems flat. The ArtD'partment brightened the photo and added some effects to show movement. After completion, this photo was used with great success in an advertising campaign for a local attraction that featured the antique merry-go-round shown (click here to see one of the magazine ads that used this photo).
