Unhappy with a photo? The ArtD'partment can alter it to suit your own needs or desires. Perhaps that perfect picture is marred by electrical wires in the foreground, or an otherwise perfect setting photographs with a sky that's white instead of blue. Maybe you'd just like to be able to focus entirely on your subject rather than extraneous background details. Whatever the photographic problem, The ArtD'partment can help you turn the photo you have into the picture you want. |

When a nationally known health care provider built a new state-of-the-art facility, it was big news that required a big celebration. The problem? The client wanted photos of the new facility to feature prominently on announcements and invitations for a planned late spring open house, but the building was still under construction when plans were being made in mid-winter. The ArtD'partment took a digital photo of the building as it was,and then digitally removed construction equipment, changed the season, added landscaping and a driveway, and more. There really wasn't anything wrong with this midget race car photo. It's just that the client wanted to show a potential customer how a car might look if he chose to sponsor it. The ArtD'partment modified the car colors and numbers, added the appropriate corporate logos, and cleaned up some minor things marring the background. The client was able to show his customer his car even before he purchased the sponsorship. Click here to see an enlarged photo |

A client was interested in incorporating some local landmarks into a single design. The ArtD'partment shot digital photos, removed the backgrounds, digitally enhanced the photos, and then electronically combined them to create a finished design to be applied to drinkware for souvenir sales. |

| Our client was in the process of constructing a high-end apartment complex, and he needed to begin seeking residents in the very early spring for move-in by fall. The problems here were three-fold: The grounds still needed to be landscaped; the trees at the back of the lot were leafless; and the size of the complex was such that single photograph couldn't be taken close enough to provide the detail he wanted to show. The ArtD'partment solved his problems by combining three photos (as shown at right) and then digitally adding and enhancing grass, shrubbery, and leafy trees. |

Our client, a manufacturer of high quality mailboxes and mailbox accessories, needed new photos for a brochure update. He had photos of his new product lines, but because they were only just becoming available for sale, he had no photos of the mailboxes in use. The ArtD'partment solved the problem by locating and obtaining photos of houses and then digitally adding the clien'ts product into the landscape. One of the end results is shown at left. | |||||||||||||||||
The family photo at right became the subject of argument when a son and his girlfriend broke up and a new girlfriend objected to the prominently displayed picture. Without damaging or changing the original in any way, The ArtD'partment was able to digitally replace the old girlfriend with the new, thus restoring household harmony. |
